'Playstation 3 Slim' spotted in the wild (w/ video)

So here's the deal.

I was walking around this underground marketplace in the Philippines, hoping to get a good deal for a PS3. Lo and behold out of nowhere i saw the PS3 slim. It looked EXACTLY like the rumored photos. I asked the guy and he said it was brand new and that our country had it first. I have a video and a few details.

What I know:

- It has a 120GB HDD.
- Two USB Ports
- The 'touch' button for eject and on seems to be gone, and there are now these random buttons.
- The ps icon is now white instead of colored.
- No more card reader
- PLAYSTATION 3 is gone, rather its PS3. It says this on the bottom as well for some reason.
- The guy was selling it with a Dualshock 3. Whether it is compatible is another matter.
- The guy was selling it for 20,000 pesos, which is roughly £250, which is roughly $410

looks real to me, lets see sony deny it lol that will be funny , and then the video gets removed from youtube . o and yeah should have brought it or got a demostration of it working.

Looks real to me but you never know. Did you get to hold it? Did he have any demonstrations of it working or was it simply sitting on his stall?

I agree that it definitely looks real as it is the splitting image of the pics that have been leaked of it. That, or someone is good with fakes.

But, really, you didn't buy it?

I have to say the video looks real but as for the console i dought it even works!!!!

That's a big risk to take, buying something unknown to even be real.

TLD you owe it to the PlayStation world to try and get some better footage if you can. Get someone to hold the console and film it yourself. Equally - if you can get the guy to hook it up and show you it working (reading PS3 disks) I think all of the doubters would immediately fall back in line.

Whether it's real or not, that's an excellent find mate and kudos go to you! Just wish you'd have given me more than 30 minutes to reply to you before you posted the video to ensure the site was prepared for the many thousands that flocked in within just a few minutes. I've had to take the site offline and move servers to deal with the traffic

Good luck on the proof hunt TLD regardless of working proof that it is genuine this is one hell of a find.

i also belive that slim PS3 is due Xmas this year according to info in a Leading Gaming mag will need to borrow it from work.

i just this second noticed the EJECT and POWER buttons look soooooo fake its obvious lol i did not notice till daruku edited it a touch i looked on orginal pic and you can see it but barely
